Deposits and final balances are recognised as income when the job is carried out. We’ll match payments to jobs so that your year-end income is correct and easy to explain.
Can I claim for my home office if I store gear at home?
In many cases, yes – at least a proportion of costs. We’ll explain what’s reasonable and how to document it for HMRC.
I occasionally do waste clearance. Is that included?
We can include that income in your accounts as long as you hold any required waste carrier licences. We’ll keep it clearly labelled if it is only part of what you do.
